KUALA LUMPUR (March 24): Construction outfit Nestcon Bhd (KL:NESTCON), through its wholly owned subsidiary Nestcon Infra Sdn Bhd, has secured a RM100 million contract from Alam Casana Sdn Bhd for earthworks covering an area of 242 acres in Mukim Kerling, Hulu Selangor, Selangor.

The project is part of the first-phase development within the 800-acre Beringin High-Tech Auto Valley ecosystem, which is anchored by the 200-acre Chery Smart Auto Industrial Park in Lembah Beringin.

In a bourse filing on Monday, the company said the contract — its third win this year — will commence on April 3, 2025, and is slated for completion by July 2, 2026.

The development aims to establish an integrated automotive township that will attract talent, investment, and innovation, positioning Hulu Selangor as a regional hub for world-class automotive manufacturing and cutting-edge technologies, Nestcon said.

Nestcon Infra is primarily involved in investment holding, construction, and transportation, while Alam Casana focuses on investment holding and real estate activities.

Nestcon closed half a sen or 1.3% higher at 40.5 sen on Monday, valuing the group at RM289 million.
