Mavcom sees spike in air travel complaints in 2H2024 amid flight disruptionsThe Malaysian Aviation Commission (Mavcom) reported a 34% rise in air travel-related complaints in the second half of 2024, largely due to flight disruptions, but noted that domestic airlines responded promptly, resolving more than 90% of cases within the stipulated 30-day period.
In a statement on Tuesday, the commission reported a total of 2,613 complaints between July and December 2024 — a rise from the 1,948 cases recorded during the same period in 2023.
