KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 19): National oil firm Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas) is reportedly striving to bring to reality a new deep-water gas development in Block CA-2 off Brunei.
Energy portal Upstreamonline on Aug 16 reported that Block CA-2 contains discoveries including Kelidang, Keratau, Kempas and Keratau SW.
It said that Petronas and its partners — Shell, ConocoPhillips, Murphy Oil and Brunei National Petroleum Company (PetroleumBrunei) — are provisionally looking at placing a central processing platform in about 150 metres of water and running a network of flowlines down to the deep-water.
