<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Suriani, 54, is currently the Secretary General in the Ministry of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives, a position she has been holding since 2020. She also holds a directorship in Perbadanan Nasional Bhd.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Prior to this, she has worked in various other ministries including the Ministry of Communications and Multimedia Malaysia; the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development; Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of International Trade &amp; Industry (MITI).</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Suriani graduated with a Masters of Art in Strategy and Diplomacy from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) and a Bachelor of Communication from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM).</p></div>
