KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 6): Former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak should remain in prison until the King’s decree for his house arrest is clarified, the Attorney General said on Friday.
The delay was not meant to dispute the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, but a measure to ensure that his decree and the court’s order are implemented accurately, orderly, and in line with the law, the Attorney General’s Chambers said in a statement.
“The Attorney General’s Chambers will take the next action after studying and clarifying the matter,” the statement read.
