KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 8): Exsim Hospitality Bhd (KL:EXSIMHB) has secured a RM15.6 million subcontract from a unit of Nestcon Bhd (KL:NESTCON) for the supply and installation of building services and general building works.
Its wholly-owned subsidiary Exsim Concepto Sdn Bhd was awarded the contract by Nestcon Builders Sdn Bhd on Tuesday (Oct 6), according to a Bursa Malaysia filing on Thursday. The works are scheduled for completion on Oct 31, 2028, followed by a 27-month defect liability period commencing from the date of the certificate of practical completion.
Exsim Concepto mainly provides specialised fit-out services for hospitality properties and undertakes general contracting and centralised procurement activities, according to the group, previously known as Pan Malaysia Holdings Bhd.
During its latest financial year ended June 30, 2026, Exsim Hospitality’s net profit surged 126% to RM40.75 due to the expansion of its fit-out business and hospitality management operations. Revenue increased 91.9% to RM281.23 million from RM146.53 million.
Exsim Hospitality shares closed unchanged at 50 sen on Thursday, giving the group a market capitalisation of RM1.18 billion. The stock has gained nearly 120% year to date.
