KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 3): RNG Tech Bhd’s Thai subsidiary, Rest n Go (Thailand) Co Ltd, has been appointed the sole provider and operator of massage chairs at Lotus’s stores in Thailand.

Rest n Go (Thailand) entered into a memorandum of agreement with CP Axtra PCL on Wednesday (Sept 2). CP Axtra is listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand, which operates Lotus’s retail chain.

However, the Bursa filing did not disclose any rental value for the agreement.

The agreement runs from Nov 1, 2026, to April 30, 2030, comprising a six-month temporary phase followed by a three-year permanent phase. The initial rollout targets a minimum of 1,400 to 1,600 massage chairs across an estimated 4,800 sq m within Lotus’s stores.

Rest n Go (Thailand) was previously awarded a Lotus’s bidding exercise in 2025 and currently operates 806 massage chairs across 132 Lotus’s locations in Thailand.

RNG Tech said the latest partnership is expected to broaden Rest n Go’s footprint in high-traffic retail locations in Thailand, and strengthen its relationship with CP Axtra.

The group expects the agreement to contribute positively to its earnings over the duration of the agreement.

RNG Tech’s share price was traded unchanged at 11.5 sen at Thursday’s noon market break, with a market capitalisation of RM91 million.
