Unisem (M) Bhd’s (KL:UNISEM) net profit for the second quarter ended June 30, 2026 (2QFY2026) rose 8.5% to RM9.91 million from RM9.13 million a year earlier, as revenue increased 20% to RM570.12 million from RM475.15 million last year. Fraser & Neave Holdings Bhd's (KL:F&N) net profit for the third quarter ended June 30, 2026 (3QFY2026) rose 10.3% to RM93.58 million from RM84.82 million a year earlier, supported by stronger performance in its Malaysian segment, as well as lower tax and operating expenses. Quarterly revenue, however, declined 3.8% to RM1.2 billion from RM1.25 billion, dragged by weaker F&B performance in IndoChina amid softer market conditions and prolonged border closures. Revenue from its Malaysian segment rose on stronger channel execution, higher export sales and sustained momentum across its beverage and dairy categories. WCT Holdings Bhd (KL:WCT) is acquiring the remaining 30% stake in Jelas Puri Sdn Bhd from the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) for RM140 million. Jelas Puri developed the Paradigm Petaling Jaya integrated development in Kelana Jaya, which comprises The Ascent office tower, Le Méridien Petaling Jaya hotel, Paradigm Mall Petaling Jaya, the Azure Residences and Sapphire Paradigm. — WCT buys EPF’s 30% stake in Paradigm PJ developer for RM140m
Property developer Eastern & Oriental Bhd (KL:E&O) and Majestic Gen Sdn Bhd will acquire a 5,682 sq m freehold parcel of land along Jalan Kia Peng, Kuala Lumpur for RM189.9 million to develop a premium residential project. The land, which currently houses a 30-storey condominium, will be acquired by KP Urban Sdn Bhd from private property investment company Twelve Kiapeng Sdn Bhd. Eco-Shop Marketing Bhd (KL:ECOSHOP) is facing a lawsuit from a property owner over alleged breach of a tenancy agreement and unauthorised demolition of premises in George Town, Penang. Cheng Heng Yew and Cheng Kar Tong are suing the company and five other defendants, seeking, among others, a court order requiring Eco-Shop to rebuild the premises at No 262, Jalan Gurdwara, George Town, Penang within two years, as well as payment of monthly rent or compensation of RM35,000 until the issuance of the Certificate of Completion and Compliance (CCC).The plaintiffs are also seeking an order for Eco-Shop to provide a RM20 million security deposit or bank guarantee as a guarantee for the restoration or reconstruction of the premises. — Eco-Shop faces lawsuit over alleged unauthorised demolition of Penang premises
Kumpulan Jetson Bhd (KL:JETSON) announced that an independent forensic review it had commissioned into disputed payments and an employee share option scheme (ESOS) executed in and around June 2025 has found anomalies. The forensic review by BDO Governance Advisory Sdn Bhd, which was not announced prior to this, found that disputed payments were made without proper documentation, commercial justification or approvals, while the ESOS was not carried out in accordance with its by-laws and lacked oversight from the ESOS committee. MISC Bhd (KL:MISC) has secured a deal to ship natural gas to Japan from PETRONAS’ facility in Sarawak.
