KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 26): Public space networked systems provider ITMAX System Bhd (KL:ITMAX) posted a new record quarterly net profit of RM25.6 million for the third quarter ended Sept 30, 2025 (3QFY2025), surpassing the previous quarter’s high of RM23.07 million, driven by a surge in revenue from its digital infrastructure solutions business.

Quarterly net profit rose 15.8% year‑on‑year (y-o-y) from RM22.11 million in 3QFY2024, as revenue climbed 12.3% y‑o‑y to RM 65.17 million from RM 58.02 million, its Bursa Malaysia filing on Wednesday (Nov 26) showed.

The earnings growth was fuelled by a 68.7% jump in revenue from video surveillance, analytics and subscription services, which offset a 33.2% drop in supply, installation and maintenance services revenue.

Gross margin improved to 75.1% from 64.7% a year ago, lifting operating margin to 56.3% from 50.9%.

The board did not propose any dividend for the quarter under review.

For the nine‑month period ended Sept 30, 2025 (9MFY2025), net profit rose 16.1% y-o-y to RM 68.82 million, while revenue grew 11% to RM 174.35 million.

Looking ahead, ITMAX said it is looking to continue its growth by expanding its service offerings and expanding into other geographical territories and segments.

"While the group continues to deliver on its ongoing project and plots its mid- and long-term growth, inflationary pressures remain as threats to the local and global economy," it cautioned.

The company’s shares closed up six sen or 1.35% at RM4.50 on Wednesday, bringing up its market capitalisation to RM4.65 billion. That represents a year‑to‑date gain of over 22%.
