KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 21): Digital urban facilities firm ITMAX System Bhd (KL:ITMAX) posted a record-high net profit in the second quarter, lifted by a surge in revenue from its digital infrastructure solutions segment.

Net profit for the three months ended June 30, 2025 (2QFY2025) rose 20.4% to RM23.07 million, from RM19.16 million in 2QFY2024, according to a bourse filing. Earnings per share grew to 2.23 sen from 1.86 sen last year.

Quarterly revenue increased 9.8% year-on-year to RM58.46 million from RM53.25 million, driven by a 68.8% rise in revenue from digital infrastructure offerings such as video surveillance, analytics and subscription services. 

This offset declines in revenue from supply, installation and maintenance services, which dropped 38.8% to RM17.65 million, and lease revenue, which contracted 31.4% to RM551,000.

For the first half ended June 30, 2025 (1HFY2025), ITMAX posted a net profit of RM43.22 million, up 16.2% from RM37.19 million in 1HFY2024, as revenue increased 10.2% to RM109.18 million from RM99.09 million.

No dividend was declared for the latest quarter.

ITMAX, which was listed on the Main Market in December 2022, said that it plans to extend its service offerings and enter new geographical markets and customer segments.

Shares in ITMAX finished one sen or 0.23% lower at RM4.28 on Thursday, giving the group a market capitalisation of RM4.42 billion.
