KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 17): Infomina Bhd (KL:INFOM) has secured a RM66.13 million contract from the Home Ministry for the provision of technology infrastructure operations, maintenance and support services to the National Registration Department (JPN).

In a bourse filing, Infomina said it had on Monday signed and accepted the letter of acceptance, which covers comprehensive maintenance of JPN’s core system operation infrastructure and its green data centre, on a performance-based contract.

The 36-month contract, running from Nov 17, 2025 to Nov 16, 2028, includes preventive maintenance, maintenance repairs, software licence renewals, onsite operations, technical and support services, disaster recovery and backup facilities, as well as related training.

Any renewal or extension beyond the contract period will be at the ministry’s discretion, Infomina added.

Infomina recently reported a marginal increase in net profit to RM8.08 million for its first financial quarter ended Aug 31, 2025 (1QFY2026), against RM8.01 million a year earlier, despite an 18.2% rise in revenue to RM54.6 million from RM46.2 million.

The IT system integration firm attributed the softer bottom line growth to a 25.15% increase in cost of sales and an 18.41% rise in administrative expenses.

As at end-August, Infomina’s order book stood at RM291 million, with a growing portfolio of AI-driven products. It was in a net cash position of RM90.2 million.

Infomina’s shares closed up eight sen or 5.84% at RM1.45 on Monday, giving the group a market capitalisation of RM871.81 million.
