KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 14): Infomina Bhd (KL:INFOM) reported a marginal increase in net profit to RM8.08 million for the first quarter ended Aug 31, 2025 (1QFY2026), compared with RM8.01 million a year earlier, despite an 18.2% rise in revenue to RM54.6 million from RM46.2 million.

According to a bourse filing on Tuesday, the IT system integration solutions firm saw cost of sales rise by 25.15% and administrative expenses up by 18.41%, tempering bottom-line growth.

Chief executive officer and managing director Yee Chee Meng described the first-quarter performance as a solid start to FY2026, attributing the improvement to stronger contributions across all key segments — particularly from the group’s technology infrastructure solutions and expanding data solutions business.

“We are seeing encouraging progress in our AI-led data initiatives,” said Yee. “The launch of ValuationXchange in July 2025 under Infomina Geolytik marks our entry into the proptech and digital valuation space, supporting the digitalisation efforts of banks, valuers, and regulators."

Customer onboarding has commenced, Yee said, adding that the platform is "gaining strong early momentum".

In August, Infomina launched AiMod, a self-serve data analytics and modelling platform, followed by AiExe, which integrates data, intelligence, and automation into enterprise workflows.

These developments, Yee said, are laying the foundation for scalable, recurring income and margin expansion over the medium term.

Operationally, Infomina’s recurring operations, maintenance and support services segment continued to perform steadily, backed by long-term contracts across Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Indonesia.

Its Japan business is also gaining traction, with over 10 active customers onboarded. The group expects Japan to become a meaningful contributor to regional performance in the coming quarters.

Infomina’s order book stood at RM291 million as at end-August, supported by a net cash position of RM90.2 million and a growing portfolio of AI-driven products.

Infomina shares closed one sen higher at RM1.36 on Tuesday, up 0.7%, giving the group a market capitalisation of RM817.7 million.
