KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 30): Engineering and facilities management firm AWC Bhd (KL:AWC) said on Thursday its wholly owned subsidiary Ambang Wira Sdn Bhd has secured a RM99.12 million contract from TM Technology Services Sdn Bhd, a unit of Telekom Malaysia Bhd (KL:TM).

The contract is for the provision of integrated facilities management services for TM’s data centres and buildings at TM Central 1.

The contract, which covers operations, maintenance and support services, runs for five years from Nov 1, 2025 to Oct 31, 2030, according to the group's filing on Bursa Malaysia.

This marks AWC’s third major contract win and its largest this year, following a RM13 million contract last month for a pneumatic waste conveyance system in Singapore, and an RM18.4 million, 10-year concession awarded in April to operate an automated waste collection system at the Terminal Bersepadu Gombak.

AWC mainly provides facilities management services for federal government buildings and mechanical-and-electrical engineering services for high-rise developments. It also has businesses in automated waste collection systems and railway track materials.

Shares of AWC slipped one sen or 1.3% to close at 76 sen on Thursday, for a market capitalisation of RM261.4 million.
