KUALA LUMPUR (Jan 13): IT services provider Infomina Bhd (KL:INFOM) said it has secured a purchase order worth US$2.9 million (RM13 million) to provide technology application and infrastructure operations to a Hong Kong-based technology firm.
The order, accepted through its wholly-owned subsidiary Infomina Pte Ltd (Infomina SG), was issued by PCCW Solutions Ltd for its entity, Hong Kong Telecommunications (HKT) Ltd, according to the company’s filing with Bursa Malaysia on Monday.
Under the two-year agreement, Infomina SG will assist HKT with renewing licence subscriptions, providing training for HKT personnel on installation and start-up processes, supervising the installation and start-up of hardware and software systems.
The services also include assessing and monitoring HKT's software environment to ensure it is kept up-to-date with the latest supported versions, said Infomina.
Last week, Infomina bagged a three-year contract worth RM22.35 million with the Road Transport Department (JPJ) to provide maintenance and support for the Automated Awareness Safety System.
Infomina’s shares closed unchanged at RM1.30 on Monday, giving the company a market capitalisation of RM781.62 million.
