KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 30): Haily Group Berhad (KL:HAILY) has secured a contract worth RM65 million for the construction and completion of a housing project in Tebrau, Johor.
This comprises 206 units of double-storey terrace houses and one power substation.
The contract was secured through its wholly-owned subsidiary Haily Construction Sdn Bhd on Wednesday, which had accepted the Letter of Award for the project from Akipro Architect Sdn Bhd, on behalf of Austin Senibong Development Sdn Bhd.
Under said contract, the 206 units of double storey terrace houses are expected to be completed by Feb 1, 2025, Haily said.
This is the eighth housing construction project in Johor won by Haily this year in Johor Bahru, Kulai, Pulai, Kempas Baru and Pontian, and its ninth contract win for the company in the same period.
It is also its third contract from Austin Senibong, the first being a RM40.67 million contract to build three-storey shop offices won in December 2021; and another contract to build 220 double-storey terrace houses and one power substation for RM60 million, won in April this year.
At the time of writing, Haily’s shares were unchanged at 23.5 sen with a market capitalisation of RM92 million.
