1. Capital A Bhd said it no longer needs to carve out its branding business to achieve the positive equity position necessary to exit the Practice Note 17 status. 

2. Maxis Bhd will likely lead the second 5G network when the government announces who will win the right to develop the second 5G network, said CIMB Securities.

3. Oil and gas services firm Keyfield International Bhd has secured eight work orders worth about RM130.3 million from Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd.

4. LB Aluminium Bhd reported that its net profit for the first quarter doubled from a year ago, as revenue hit its highest in two decades.

5. KJTS Group Bhd's unit has signed a 20-year agreement for retrofit work, operation and maintenance services for a chiller plant, and the supply of chilled water at the Centara Grand Mirage Beach Resort Pattaya, Thailand.
