KUALA LUMPUR (July 27): The government will provide a special appreciation aid (Bantuan Khas Perhargaan) of RM300 to civil servants grade 56 and below.
In addition, it will also provide RM200 in aid to various types of government pensioners under the scheme.
In his speech at the launch of the Ekonomi Madani economic plan here on Thursday (July 27), Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said this special aid will benefit 1.3 million civil servants including contract appointees as well as over a million retirees.
With this special aid, Anwar said he hoped that civil servants will continue to work hard to support the desire to implement the Madani economic reform, providing the best service while helping the government's fiscal space in order for the government to realise the restructuring of salaries of public servants.
