KUALA LUMPUR (June 7): ReU Living Sdn Bhd, a retirement and recovery centre in Kuala Lumpur, has been awarded the Operator of The Year - Assisted Living award and Global Ageing Trailblazer Award at the 11th Asia Pacific Eldercare Innovation Awards on May 25 in Marina Bay Sands, Singapore.
ReU Living CEO Anna Chew said that these awards are testament to the centre's commitment in providing senior citizens with quality of life by creating a nurturing environment where residents can thrive. The award presentation is the finale of the Ageing Asia 2023 - World Ageing Festival (14th edition).
"I am very grateful to our team, whose passion and tireless efforts have made these accolades possible... We are immensely honoured and humbled to be recognised,” she added.
Commencing in 2013, the Asia Pacific Eldercare Innovation Awards provides annual recognition to organisations in Asia-Pacific countries that demonstrate eldercare innovation in their business, operations and service models to change the way seniors age. The Operator of The Year - Assisted Living award acknowledges ReU Living as the operator that enables seniors who need assistance with daily living, supporting them to live as independently as possible. The Global Ageing Trailblazer Award, meanwhile, recognises Anna Chew’s efforts in making ReU Living the standard for elderly care.
