The future of growth in this sime darby property township will be spurred by advanced connectivity and commercial transformation.

Well known for its sprawling greenery, vibrant parkscapes and quality landed homes, the freehold integrated City of Elmina township in Shah Alam offers residents a fulfilling and balanced lifestyle, without having to compromise on connectivity and convenience.

Already a highly sought-after address in the Greater Klang Valley, the pull factor for many urbanites to settle down in the township was further strengthened with the recent completion of the Damansara-Shah Alam Elevated Expressway (DASH), which has enabled this 6,500-acre award-winning township to be more connected than ever to popular destinations such as Kota Damansara, Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya and Mont' Kiara.

The DASH also links travellers to other highways such as the Damansara-Puchong Expressway (LDP), Penchala Link and Sprint Expressway, in addition to the existing network of expressways which the City of Elmina is well connected to, namely the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE), Kuala Lumpur-Kuala Selangor Expressway (LATAR) and North-South Expressway (NSE).

The City of Elmina has seen 50% of development works completed to date and is currently home to about 45,000 residents, proving that the township is maturing swiftly.

Moving forward, an exciting transformational plan is in the pipeline to further amplify liveability in this mega township. The plan, which includes the activation of the Elmina City Centre and other placemaking components, is set to boost the attractiveness of the township and appeal to a larger demographic.

A BOOMING COMMERCIAL SCENE

TEMU, the first lifestyle commercial precinct in Elmina East, is now open and ready for business. Launched in 2019, the commercial centre generated a huge wave of tenancy enquiries even before its completion. Today, it comprises 70 units of shop offices, all fully sold out.

A key anchor tenant of the commercial precinct is a renowned Cash & Carry outlet, which will be occupying a 1-acre parcel to operate its chain grocery store. Other familiar brands taking up space include The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, FamilyMart, Pizza Hut, Miami Chicken and 99 Speedmart.

Other convenience shops and services that have already set up their business at TEMU include child enrichment centres, clinics, optical shops, auto spas and eateries.
