KUALA LUMPUR: Omesti Bhd has teamed up with Foster Moore International of New Zealand to deploy Foster Moore’s proprietary electronic registry solution called Catalyst across Asean and beyond.

The Catalyst solution brings cost savings and operational efficiencies, while complying with local statutory legislation. Other advantages include improved data access, enhanced functionality, and streamlined operations for agencies and end users alike.

To date, the solution has been deployed in multiple territories across the globe, including North America, Africa, the Middle East and Labuan.

Omesti executive director Gerard Monteiro noted that governments and regulatory bodies around the Asean region are pushing to achieve greater transparency.

“They (governments and regulatory bodies) want to know and want end users to be able to find out how companies are really structured, who the stakeholders are and what their financials look like,” he said at the technology partnership signing ceremony yesterday.

Under the partnership, Omesti has been selected as Foster Moore’s implementation partner for Asean and emerging markets.

“We will work together to identify opportunities in a range of countries, which include Singapore, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Myanmar and Malaysia,” said Monteiro.

Foster Moore vice-president of Catalyst consulting Kim de Moor said Omesti has similar core values to Foster Moore.

“Our partnership with Omesti seeks to combine their consultancy and system integration expertise with our Catalyst product in Asean,” de Moor said. The Catalyst solution provides a generic database structure for multiple registries, and seamlessly handles configuration, mapping, workflows and integration.
