KUALA LUMPUR (April 20): Amanah Saham Nasional Bhd (ASNB) has introduced an online withdrawal facility for selected unit trust funds under its management through the myASNB portal starting today.
In a statement today, ASNB said the facility aims to provide unit holders with greater flexibility in managing their investments, while also ensuring that they are able to remain focused on their investment objectives, particularly in balancing current and long-term financial needs.
"Through this facility, unit holders will be able to withdraw their investments from any of their ASNB unit trust accounts except ASN Sara 2 and ASN Equity 5. The amount will be transferred to the unit holders' bank account registered with myASNB on the following working day.
"This is in line with ASNB's commitment to provide the best service to its unit holders, particularly in ensuring that unit holders' financial needs can be met at all times," it said.
According to ASNB, unit holders are allowed to withdraw a minimum amount of RM100 per transaction. However, the myASNB withdrawal facility is limited to three transactions per month, with a maximum accumulated amount of RM500 from any of the ASNB unit trust accounts belonging to the unit holder.
"This online withdrawal service will also be made available via the myASNB application from April 27, 2020 onwards," it added.
