KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 5): Fertility care specialist Alpha IVF Group Bhd (KL:ALPHA) has secured approval from the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) and Bursa Malaysia to transfer its listing from the ACE Market to the Main Market.
The SC approved the proposed transfer through the accelerated transfer process on Thursday, noting that the group complied with the Bumiputera equity requirement
Bursa approved the move under the healthcare sector, the group said in a bourse filing on Thursday.
The move will take effect two clear market days after the company announces the transfer date to Bursa Malaysia.
Alpha IVF announced its Main Market plan on Oct 5, saying the transfer would enhance its corporate profile and attract greater interest from investors, particularly institutional investors.
The group was listed on the ACE Market in March 2024 at an initial public offering of 32 sen, raising RM466.5 million.
Alpha IVF operates eight fertility centres across Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and the Philippines, with two more centres in Johor Bahru and Bali expected to open by end-2026 and mid-2027, respectively.
For the financial year ended May 31, 2026, the group's net profit declined 6.6% to RM53.64 million from RM57.45 million a year earlier, despite revenue rising 12.3% to RM198.59 million, mainly due to higher expansion-related costs.
Shares of Alpha IVF closed unchanged at 28 sen, valuing the group at RM1.36 billion.
