KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 5): SD Guthrie Bhd (KL:SDG) reported a 17% decline in third-quarter earnings though the world’s largest palm oil producer by acreage is still confident of ending the year strong.

Net profit for the three months ended Sept 30, 2026 (3QFY2026) was RM773 million, down from RM935 million in the same quarter a year earlier, SD Guthrie said in an exchange filing. Revenue for the quarter dipped 0.3% year-on-year to RM5.39 billion.

“The group is on track to register a strong performance for this year” as prices of palm oil are expected to remain resilient with upside potential extending into 2027, the company said in a statement.
