KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 3): MM Computer Systems Bhd (KL:MMCS) said it has secured a purchase order worth RM51.58 million to supply graphics processing unit (GPU)-accelerated servers.
“This contract underscores MMCS’s capabilities in delivering advanced IT infrastructure solutions amid growing demand for AI and high-performance computing technologies,” MMCS said in a statement on Tuesday.
The IT solutions provider did not disclose the name of the party that awarded the contract to its wholly owned subsidiary, Micro Technology Solution Sdn Bhd, saying only that it is a Malaysian telecommunications infrastructure and data centre services provider.
MMCS said the servers are designed to support computationally intensive workloads, including generative AI, large language model training and inference, deep learning, advanced data analytics and high-performance computing.
The company expects the contract to contribute positively to its earnings and net assets per share.
MMCS shares closed unchanged at 36.5 sen on Tuesday, valuing the company at RM207 million. The stock, which debuted on the ACE Market in June, has risen over 65% from its initial public offering price of 22 sen.
