<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner>Fu is undergoing a disciplinary review and supervisory investigation by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission, according to a statement on the agency’s website.</div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner>Fu Chengyu, born in 1951, is a veteran of China’s oil industry who led China National Offshore Oil Corporation before becoming the chairman and Communist Party chief of Sinopec in 2011.
