SUBANG JAYA (Oct 31): Gamuda Land and Taylor’s Assets have fully sold Block B of Haus on 15, their mixed-use development on the former Taylor’s College campus in SS15, as they officially launched the project on Saturday and opened Block A for sale. Block B was soft launched in early October.

The milestone comes three months after the development’s groundbreaking ceremony in July.

Haus on 15 is a 2.88-acre freehold development with a gross development value of RM540 million. It comprises two 31-storey serviced apartment towers, a purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) block and 18 retail units.

The 614-unit serviced apartments range from 690 to 980 sq ft, priced from RM736,800. The PBSA component comprises 253 units with a total capacity of 401 beds, while the 18 retail units range from 1,399 to 2,829 sq ft, with prices starting from RM1.52 million.

The PBSA component will be retained by Taylor’s Assets and managed by Taylor’s Hostel Management. It is intended to serve students from institutions across the wider Subang Jaya-Sunway area.

The entire development is slated for completion in 2029.

Gamuda Land chief executive officer Gim Teck Yew said the development was designed to retain the youthful character of SS15 while giving the former college site a new purpose.

“SS15 holds a lot of memories for people, whether they studied here or spent time in the neighbourhood. When the opportunity came to redevelop this site, we wanted to retain that youthful energy and vibrancy that people associate with SS15, while giving the area a new lease of life,” he said.

Taylor’s Assets president Sheena Angelina said the former Taylor’s College campus held an important place in the group’s history, adding that the partnership with Gamuda Land would allow the site to maintain its connection to education while introducing residential and retail components.
