MELAKA (Oct 24): Pakatan Harapan (PH) on Saturday night announced 21 candidates to contest the Melaka state election on Nov 14.
The list was announced by PH chairman and Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim at the Melaka PH candidate announcement and election machinery launch ceremony on the grounds of Hang Jebat Stadium in Krubong here.
In his speech, Anwar said each candidate would represent PH’s fighting spirit, and that their eventual victory would depend on voters who choose to support the coalition.
“Insya-Allah, the people of Melaka will rise and show that change is necessary in the state for a clearer future.
“I hope the people of Melaka will demonstrate extraordinary enthusiasm in bringing about change for our future, our children, our parents and our families,” he said.
The PH candidates for the Melaka state election are as follows:

- N.02 Tanjung Bidara — Mohd Yunazri Mustamiri (PKR)

- N.08 Machap Jaya — Datuk Ginie Lim Siew Lin (PKR)
