PETALING JAYA (Oct 22): Paramount Property, the property development arm of Paramount Corp Bhd (KL:PARAMON), has completed the main structural works for Seiras, the RM266 million fifth residential phase of its integrated Utropolis Batu Kawan development in Penang.

According to a press statement issued on Thursday, the topping-out brings the project closer to completion ahead of schedule in the fourth quarter of 2027.

Launched in 2025, the 43-storey residential tower comprises 411 units measuring approximately 1,033 sq ft, featuring dual-key and Penang’s first triple-key unit configurations.

Following the structural completion, construction will advance to architectural, interior, communal facility, and fit-out works for fully furnished units.

"The topping-out of Seiras brings us another step closer to delivering the development to our purchasers. It also reflects the continued progress of Utropolis Batu Kawan and our commitment to creating a well-connected community that evolves with the needs of the people who live, work and spend time here," said Paramount Property Northern Region CEO Wang Chong Hwa in the statement.

He highlighted that Batu Kawan continues to evolve since Paramount Property first established Utropolis Batu Kawan here a decade ago.

"We have grown alongside the area, progressively adding homes, commercial spaces and amenities that contribute to a more complete urban environment," he said. 

The 44.3-acre integrated development is anchored by the UOW Malaysia KDU Penang University Campus and is located approximately one kilometre from the Sultan Abdul Halim Muadzam Shah Bridge
