KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 21): Encorp Construction & Engineering Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Encorp Bhd (KL:ENCORP), has accepted a letter of acceptance for a RM16.96 million contract to build staff housing for its major shareholder, the Federal Land Development Authority (Felda).
The contract award follows a memorandum of understanding signed on June 5 this year.
The details of the contract are still being finalised and will be announced in due course, Encorp said in a bourse filing.
Felda is Encorp’s majority shareholder, holding a 67.129% stake through Felda Investment Corporation Sdn Bhd.
The collaboration follows earlier projects undertaken by Encorp for Felda, including the first phase of the Lamanda Chuping development in Perlis, which was completed in 2024.
Encorp’s shares closed unchanged at 16 sen on Wednesday, giving the company a market capitalisation of RM50.7 million.
