KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 14): Infomina Bhd (KL:INFOM) started strong in its first quarter, posting a 26.76% increase in net profit as higher contribution from its technology infrastructure operations segment boosted performance.

In its bourse filing on Wednesday, the IT infrastructure services provider announced a net profit of RM10.30 million in the three months ended Aug 31, 2026 (1QFY2027), up from RM8.13 million a year earlier.

Its revenue jumped almost 40% to RM76.19 million in the same period from RM54.63 million, driven primarily by higher contributions from its technology infrastructure operations, maintenance, and support services division.

No dividend was declared for the quarter under review.

On its outlook, Infomina highlighted its order book which expanded to RM614.2 million following recent contract wins in Malaysia, notably from the Road Transport Department and a local financial institution as well as a contract secured in Japan from Panasonic Digital Co Ltd.

The group also completed the acquisition of a 51% equity interest in Blue Fortress Sdn Bhd, aimed at complementing and strengthening its cybersecurity, digital transformation, and managed technology services offerings.

Additionally, Infomina was appointed by Broadcom to distribute and support its Mainframe Software portfolio across 12 Asia Pacific markets, expanding its distribution footprint into Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, and India.

Barring any unforeseen circumstances, Infomina expressed optimism on its outlook despite ongoing global economic uncertainties.
