KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 13): United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd (UOB Malaysia) will be providing members of the Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia (ACCCIM) broader access to its financial solutions, advisory services and business support.

The two parties inked a memorandum of understanding on Oct 10 to further their strategic collaboration to support ACCCIM members' regional growth and sustainability ambitions, according to a joint statement from them.

ACCCIM president Datuk Ng Yih Pyng said businesses face growing challenges in financing, cross-border operations and market expansion amid an increasingly dynamic global economic environment.

"The collaboration will provide ACCCIM members a more comprehensive platform for financial and business support, helping them strengthen their cross-border capabilities and explore new growth opportunities in regional markets," he said.

For UOB Malaysia CEO Datuk Ng Wei Wei, the partnership builds on its long-standing collaboration with ACCCIM and reflects their shared commitment to helping businesses mavigate change, strengthen their competitiveness and seize opportunities across Asean.

"As UOB Malaysia marks 75 years in the country, we continue to work alongside businesses to build resilience and pursue sustainable growth in an increasingly dynamic business environment.

“Beyond business growth, we also support entrepreneurs in preserving the wealth they have built and creating lasting legacies for future generation,” Ng added.
