KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 12): Infomina Bhd (KL:INFOM)’s wholly owned subsidiary, Infomina Jalan K.K., has renewed its five-year software subscription and maintenance contract worth ¥855 million (about RM22.1 million) with Panasonic Digital Co Ltd.
According to its filing with Bursa Malaysia, under the contract, Infomina Japan will be responsible for procuring and administering software licence subscriptions; managing billing arrangements; coordinating support and licence changes; and overseeing licence usage reporting and compliance.
Infomina Japan will also be assessing and monitoring Panasonic Digital’s software environment to ensure it is updated and is using the latest supported software.

The contract is expected to last five years, starting Sept 1, 2027, until Aug 31, 2032. Renewal is subject to a new purchase order.
In a statement Monday, CEO of Infomina Yee Chee Meng said the contract strengthens the company’s portfolio and presence in Japan, which he sees as an important pillar for the company’s regional growth strategy.
