SELANGOR (Oct 10): Gamuda Land, the property arm of Gamuda Bhd (KL:GAMUDA) and Thailand-based Dusit International officially opened its latest 280-room ASAI Gamuda Cove hotel, located in Persiaran Cove Sentral Bandar Gamuda Cove in Selangor on Oct 10. 

For background, ASAI-branded hotels are owned and operated by Dusit International. 

Some facilities in the 14-storey hotel include an infinity pool, a fitness centre, co-working areas, meeting spaces and three dining venues Nasi & Khao, The Tea Shop and the pool bar.

In her opening address, Gamuda Land chief operating officer Wong Siew Lee said, “As Gamuda Cove continues to grow as a destination, ASAI adds an important new layer by giving visitors the opportunity to stay and experience the township from within.

“As Gamuda Land’s first hotel development, it complements our nature and leisure offerings while connecting naturally with the wider experience we have been building, from the wetlands and recreational attractions to dining, commercial offerings and our e-tram network. Together, these give people more reasons to stay longer, explore more and experience different aspects of Gamuda Cove.”

ASAI Gamuda Cove will offer 280 rooms, as well as several facilities and dining options.

Located within the 1,866-acre Gamuda Cove, visitors will have access to the township’s Wetlands Arboretum, SplashMania Waterpark, Discovery Park, as well as the Paya Indah Discovery Wetlands. 

There will be an upcoming Kelab Tani clubhouse, located within walking distance of the hotel, offering guests additional leisure and recreational experiences once operational.

Representing Dusit International, its vice-president of operational excellence, optimisation and special projects Aloysius Micheal said, “Our ambition is for ASAI Gamuda to become an active part of this growing community, a place where visitors and local residents feel equally welcome and where they can connect, explore and enjoy everything this destination has to offer. This opening also reflects our long-term commitment to Malaysia and the exciting opportunities we see ahead”.
