KLANG (Oct 10): Mitraland Group has officially launched Bayou Quartz, a landed residential development in Kota Bayuemas, Klang, with a gross development value (GDV) of RM800 million.
Occupying approximately 52 acres of freehold land, Bayou Quartz is the latest addition to the developer’s Quartz series. Its first phase comprises 287 units of garden villas and park villas, offering a choice of two- and three-storey homes, with prices starting from RM905,000.
At the launch event on Saturday, Mitraland said Phase 1A, comprising 118 units, had achieved a 90% take-up rate since its soft launch in August. Following the response, Phase 1B, comprising the remaining 169 units in the first phase, was opened in conjunction with the official launch.
The homes have built-up areas of up to 2,695 sq ft for intermediate units and 3,135 sq ft for corner units. Selected layouts offer private gardens, home lift-ready configurations and covered car porches accommodating two to three vehicles.
Intermediate units offer up to 4+1 bedrooms and four bathrooms, while corner units have up to 5+1 bedrooms and five bathrooms.
The development features a 24-hour gated and guarded community, a two-acre clubhouse, a dedicated three-kilometre jogging path, an elevated green deck, a 20ft linear park, an eco pond and a three-acre Lake Park. It has also received provisional GreenRE Bronze certification.
“Bayou Quartz represents the next chapter of our Quartz Series. With generous green spaces, dedicated lifestyle facilities and thoughtfully planned landed homes, the development is designed to give families more room to live, connect and grow. It reflects our continued commitment to creating well-planned communities and lasting value for our homeowners,” said Mitraland Group group chief executive officer Chris Chen.
Located in Kota Bayuemas, Bayou Quartz is within reach of retail, education and healthcare amenities, including AEON Mall Bukit Tinggi, GM Klang, KSL Esplanade Mall, Orbix International School, SJK (C) Wu Teck, SJK (C) Pandamaran, Bukit Tinggi Medical Centre and Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital.
