KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 30): EP Manufacturing Bhd (KL:EPMB) has announced the resignation of its group chief executive officer Ahmad Razlan Mohamed, 50, with immediate effect.

In a filing on Wednesday, the metal and plastic components manufacturer said Ahmad Razlan had resigned in order to "pursue other professional opportunities”.

“The board wishes to place on record its appreciation to Encik Ahmad Razlan Mohamed for his contributions and leadership during his tenure with the group,” said the company in the filing.

Ahmad Razlan spent more than three years at the helm after being appointed group CEO on March 20, 2023. 

The group did not disclose who the successor will be, only that Ahmad Razlan will assist in the handover to facilitate an orderly transition.

Shares of EP Manufacturing closed half a sen or 1.1% higher at 47 sen on Wednesday, giving the group a market value of RM134.6 million.
