KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 30): Divfex Bhd (KL:DFX) said it has secured two contracts worth RM120.12 million to supply equipment for a 15MW data centre fit-out in Penang.

Under agreements signed on Wednesday, its wholly owned subsidiary Diversified Gateway Bhd will supply generator sets, transformers, switchgear and low-voltage equipment worth RM84.44 million, while 51%-owned Excel Commerce Solutions Sdn Bhd will supply RM35.67 million worth of cables.

The purchaser is a leading Malaysian incorporated data centre company, said Divfex in a bourse filing. The company's identity was not disclosed due to a confidentiality agreement between the parties.

The combined value of the contracts is nearly twice Divfex’s RM67.1 million market capitalisation as at Wednesday’s close.

Divfex said delivery under the contracts is expected to be completed within three months, with an extension of up to six months subject to a mutual written agreement.

Formerly known as Diversified Gateway Solutions Bhd, Divfex provides teledata communication, network infrastructure, industrial automation and network performance monitoring solutions.

The group is 27.15% owned by Insas Technology Bhd, the high-technology investment arm of Insas Bhd (KL:INSAS).

As at June 30, 2026, Divfex had RM36 million in cash and bank balances against total borrowings of RM4.57 million, giving it a net cash position of about RM31.43 million.

For the financial year ended June 30, 2026, Divfex’s net profit fell 10.7% to RM4.83 million from RM5.41 million a year earlier, despite revenue rising 12.3% to RM92.09 million from RM82 million.

Shares of Divfex fell half a sen, or 5.26%, to close at nine sen on Wednesday.
