PETALING JAYA (Sept 30): TNG Digital Sdn Bhd has rolled out global share trading, allowing users to trade seamlessly across the US, Hong Kong and China A-share markets through GoFinance on the TNG e-wallet platform.
The initiative is offered through a partnership with digital investment and trading platform Webull Malaysia.
Existing TNG e-wallet users and new users can open a Webull Malaysia trading account digitally via GOfinance and fund it directly through their e-wallet balance.
They can also access market information, educational resources and charting tools to research investments and conduct their own analysis in the app.
Users investing in eligible US stocks can own fractional shares of high-priced stocks from as little as US$1 (RM4.08) and use the 24-hour weekday trading function, which allows them to trade outside regular US market hours.
“With Webull Malaysia, eligible users can take the next step into overseas share investing, starting with digital account opening and funding. The partnership combines TNG e-wallet’s reach with Webull Malaysia’s specialist expertise, helping us support a wider range of financial needs beyond payments,” said Desmond Teoh, chief financial services officer at TNG Digital.
On the possibility of adding cryptocurrency as an investment option in the TNG e-wallet app, Webull Malaysia CEO Kenneth Chan said that the trading platform is looking into it as the Securities Commission of Malaysia allowed stockbrokers to offer crypto as an investment option early this year.
To mark the launch, eligible new users who access Webull Malaysia through GOfinance in the TNG e-wallet app will receive RM30 worth of fractional shares of Apple Inc.
To qualify for the promotion, users must deposit a minimum of RM200 into their trading account and maintain the deposit for at least 30 days.
As of August 2026, GOfinance had 8.5 million users, with more than four million transacting each month and 46% holding more than one financial services product on the platform.
