KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 22): The developer of Eco Business Park 7 in Negeri Sembilan is selling two plots of industrial land for RM1 billion to a data centre operator.

The parcels measuring 222 acres combined are being sold to Tera Data Centers, according to a statement from Eco Business Park 7 Sdn Bhd, a joint venture of Eco World Development Group Bhd (KL:ECOWLD), SD Guthrie Bhd (KL:SDG) and state agency NS Corporation. There are no details about the project planned on the land.

“Tera’s commitment represents a strong vote of confidence in Negeri Sembilan’s competitiveness as a preferred destination for high-tech and high-value investments,” Eco Business Park 7 said.

Singapore-headquartered Tera has data centre facilities in Indonesia, Thailand and Malaysia, according to its website.

Eco Business Park 7 said the deal reinforces the ability of the park, the first industrial development launched within Parcel C of Malaysia Vision Valley 2.0, to attract both domestic investments and foreign direct investments.

Since the project’s launch in November 2025, more than RM800 million of industrial lots and ready-built factories have been sold within the first phase, said Datuk Ho Kwee Hong, chief development officer of Eco Business Park 7.

Malaysia Vision Valley 2.0 is a state-led megaproject sprawling over 379,000 acres covering Seremban, Nilai and Port Dickson in Negeri Sembilan. NS Corporation, the lead statutory body for the masterplan, envisioned the project as a southern extension of the capital city of Kuala Lumpur.
