KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 21): Interior fit-out firm Inspace Creation Bhd (KL:INSPACE) has won a subcontract of RM34.75 million to undertake renovation works on commercial properties.

In a Bursa Malaysia filing on Monday, the group stated that its indirectly wholly owned subsidiary, IDPM Builder Sdn Bhd, had accepted a letter of award for the project from an undisclosed customer on Monday. The company said it could not disclose the identity of the main contractor as well as the location of the project and specific details of the subcontract due to confidentiality and non-disclosure obligations.

The contract, which takes effect upon acceptance, is scheduled to conclude in July 2028.

Inspace Creation said the works are expected to contribute positively to its earnings and net assets of the group’s over the duration of the project.

For the first quarter ended May 31, 2026 (2QFY2027), Inspace Creation reported a net loss of RM2.41 million on the back of RM10.74 million in revenue due to administrative expenses, which include the one-off listing expenses of RM2.63 million. Excluding this, the company said it would have been profitable for the quarter. There were no comparative figures available as the company made its listing debut on the ACE Market in May.

Inspace Creation is currently trading below its initial public offering price of 25 sen, closing unchanged at 22 sen on Monday, valuing the company at RM81.2 million.
