KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 17): Enproserve Corp Bhd (KL:ENPRO) said on Thursday it has secured a RM12.31 million contract to maintain government quarters in Putrajaya. 

The contract for the comprehensive management, operation and maintenance of buildings, common areas and installations was awarded to its wholly owned subsidiary Enproserve (M) Sdn Bhd (EMSB) from  Perbadanan Putrajaya (PPj).

The mechanical and civil engineering firm said in a bourse filing that the project is for a period of 36 months, starting on Jan 1, 2027.

The scope of the contract includes civil and structural works, mechanical and electrical systems and services, as well as housekeeping, pest control and landscaping at quarters 4C and 8R2 in Precint 8, Putrajaya.

The company added that the contract was awarded through competitive tender, with the value based on the scope of work specified by PPj, the local authority of Malaysia's federal administrative capital.

Enproserve  expects the contract to contribute positively to its future earnings and net assets.

Shares in Enproserve ended five sen, or 21.3%, higher at 28.5 sen on Thursday, valuing the ACE Market-listed company at RM299.3 million.
