KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 17): Glomac Bhd (KL:GLOMAC) posted a net profit of RM7.6 million for its first financial quarter compared to a net loss of RM1.42 million a year earlier, on the back of a sharp increase in revenue.

Revenue for the quarter ended July 31, 2026 (1QFY2027) more than doubled to RM68.53 million from RM26.05 million previously, mainly due to higher contribution from the property development segment, the group said in a bourse filing on Thursday.

The property development segment, the group’s main revenue driver, saw revenue surging to RM61.12 million from RM19.17 million in 1QFY2026 on increased construction and development activities in ongoing projects.

Revenue from its property investment division, comprising rental income from investment properties and car parks, remained steady at RM6.6 million.

No dividend was declared for the quarter.

Glomac said it remains optimistic about its growth trajectory, driven by the timely execution of ongoing development projects and planned launches.

Shares of Glomac closed unchanged at 31 sen on Thursday, giving the group a market capitalisation of RM248 million.
