KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 8): EGH International Bhd, an interior fit-out firm, has signed an underwriting agreement with Berjaya Securities Sdn Bhd for its planned listing on the ACE Market.
In a statement on Tuesday, the group said its IPO’s principal adviser Berjaya Securities will underwrite 80 million shares, representing 8% of its enlarged share capital, comprising shares allocated to the Malaysian public and eligible persons via pink form allocations.
A total of 50 million shares (5%) will be allocated to the Malaysian public, 30 million shares (3%) to eligible persons, while 160 million new shares (16%) and 120 million existing shares (12%) will be offered by way of private placement. All in, the listing offers investors a 36% stake in the company.
"We look forward to continuing our growth trajectory by enhancing our position in Malaysia's interior fit-out industry, expanding our operational capabilities and growing our business‑to‑customer (B2C) segment,” said EGH International founder and managing director Datuk Weslie Lim.
“We remain committed to delivering quality projects that meet the highest standards of craftsmanship and professionalism," he added.
The listing is expected to take place in October 2026.
Proceeds from the IPO will be channelled towards repayment of borrowings, general working capital and the construction of a five‑storey building in Puchong, Selangor, which will house the group’s new head office, warehouse and Interior Premium Outlet showroom.
The company also sells furniture, fittings and equipment, a business which provided the rest of the income, to project owners, contractors, interior designers and retail customers.
Backed by Datuk Doh Jee Ming, the managing director of property developer Lagenda Properties Bhd (KL:LAGENDA), EGH International has completed projects in Malaysia and abroad over the past 15 years, including 57 hotels and resorts, 19 healthcare facilities, five airport lounges across Malaysia Cambodia, India and Hong Kong and three educational institutions.
For the 12 months ended March 31, 2025, the company made a profit after tax of RM7.2 million on revenue of RM156.7 million. Interior fit-out services accounted for 74% of revenue.
Berjaya Securities is the principal adviser, sponsor, sole underwriter and sole placement agent for the IPO.
