KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 3): Orgabio Holdings Bhd (KL:ORGABIO), which makes instant beverage premixes and food supplements, will acquire a freehold industrial property in Semenyih, Selangor for RM11.26 million cash.
Its wholly owned subsidiary, Orgabio Manufacturing Sdn Bhd entered and agreement with Chung Lian Fatt to purchase a 5,263 square metre parcel of freehold land at Jalan Bangi, Mukim Semenyih, according to an exchange filing.
Orgabio said it plans to develop a warehouse on the site to support its expanding operations. It expects the purchase to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2026.
The company added that the property is next to the group’s new factory in Sungai Purun, Semenyih, enabling the efficient transport of goods between the manufacturing and warehousing facilities.
The existing building on the site could also allow the group to begin operations with limited renovation and fitting-out work.
The single-storey detached building on the site is currently used as badminton courts and warehousing, and was valued at RM11.26 million by independent valuer Rahim and Co International Sdn Bhd, based on a valuation report dated July 23, 2026.
The group will fund the purchase with RM2.3 million from internally generated funds and RM8.96 million in bank borrowings.
Orgabio said the acquisition is not expected to have a material immediate impact on its earnings, although it expects the property to support future earnings as the group expands.
The transaction has a highest applicable percentage ratio of 18.9% under the ACE Market listing requirements and does not require shareholders’ or regulatory approval, according to the filing.
Shares of Orgabio ended flat at 31.5 sen on Thursday, giving the group a market value of RM78.1 million.
