KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 28): AmanahRaya Real Estate Investment Trusts (KL:ARREIT) said its managing director Datuk Mohd Iskandar Dzulkarnain Ramli will step down from the role on Sept 1.
Iskandar will remain with AmanahRaya REIT as a non-independent and non-executive director, according to an exchange filing on Friday.
The resignation is to facilitate Iskandar's move to Amanah Raya Bhd — the government-owned trustee company involved in estate planning, wills, trusts and corporate trustee services — as group managing director.
AmanahRaya REIT said Ahmad Jefri Abdul Rashid will be appointed active chief executive officer from Sept 1 to Dec 31, 2026. Ahmad Jefri's previous role is chief financial officer at Amanahraya-Kenedix Reit Manager Sdn Bhd.
Meanwhile, Low Swee Lim has been appointed acting assistant general manager of finance at Amanahraya-Kenedix Reit Manager for the same period.
The price of AmanahRaya REIT units rose half a sen or 1.4% to 37 sen on Friday, valuing the trust at RM212.1 million.
