<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 28): WCT Holdings Bhd (KL:<a href="/askedge/klse/9679" class="ce-stock" target="_blank">WCT</a>) has secured a RM600.9 million contract to build a 41-storey office tower at Tun Razak Exchange (TRX).</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>In a bourse filing on Friday, the group said the contract was awarded to its wholly owned subsidiary WCT Bhd by Pelangi Pasifik Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of TRX City Sdn Bhd, which in turn is wholly owned by the Minister of Finance Incorporated.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>WCT said the project will be carried out in three phases.</p></div><div class=inPageAd id=div-gpt-ad-inpage></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>The scope of the project includes civil and structural works, architectural works, mechanical, electrical and plumbing works, facade works, landscaping, external works and other associated works.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>WCT added that construction is scheduled to start on Dec 1.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>WCT shares fell half a sen, or 1.3%, to settle at 39 sen on Friday, valuing the group at RM608.3 million.<br />
