KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 27): Time dotCom Bhd (KL:TIMECOM) declared a special dividend after the Internet service provider reported its best quarterly earnings in 10 years.

Entitled shareholders will receive 5.41 sen per share with the special payout supported by profitability and available cash position, the company said in an exchange filing. The dividend, amounting to RM100 million, will be paid out on Sept 25.

“Balance sheet optimisation and capital management initiatives remain central to driving long-term value creation and sustainable shareholder returns,” Time dotCom said in a statement.

Net profit for the three months ended June 30, 2026 (2QFY2026) was RM134.63 million, a 29% increase from the same quarter a year ago thanks to higher data and other revenue as well as foreign exchange gain. Revenue for the quarter rose 7.2% year-on-year to RM477.78 million.

For the first six months, net profit totalled RM253.82 million, a 17% increase from the same period last year. Revenue, meanwhile, grew 6.6% to RM931.91 million when compared to the first half of 2025 as growth in data and revenue classified as “others” offset decline in voice, cloud and other services.

“As customer needs evolve, our core data and infrastructure solutions continue to anchor our growth,” CEO Loh Jenkim said. “We remain focused on strengthening our network and maintaining a disciplined approach to operational execution.”

Shares of Time dotCom ended flat at RM6.01 ahead of the results announcement. Market capitalisation stood at RM11.1 billion based on its last price.
