KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 24): Zetrix AI Bhd (KL:ZETRIX), formerly known as MyEG Services Bhd, reported a 35% increase in second-quarter net profit, driven by contributions from its artificial intelligence (AI) platforms, Web3 application services, and sales of Zetrix blockchain nodes and tokens.

Net profit for the three months ended June 30, 2026 (2QFY2026) came in at RM269.3 million, compared with RM199.1 million a year earlier, according to a bourse filing on Monday. Revenue grew 38.6% year-on-year to RM426.7 million from RM307.9 million.

Zetrix AI declared a first interim single-tier dividend of 0.25 sen per share, payable on Nov 20.

Looking ahead, Zetrix AI said it will continue developing its blockchain and AI technologies to drive organic growth for the remainder of the year.

The group said its partnership with the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the private sector arm of the World Bank Group, is expected to accelerate the global expansion of its blockchain and AI technologies.

Zetrix AI said it will also continue exploring the possibility of carving out projects from the China Asean AI Lab into a new subsidiary, with the intention of listing it on an international stock exchange such as the Nasdaq in the US.

“A successful listing will enable the company to tap on a bigger pool of global capital to further propel Zetrix AI’s push to be one of the leading AI companies,” it said.

Zetrix AI shares rose half a sen, or 0.8%, to settle at 65.5 sen on Monday, valuing the group at RM5.28 billion. Year to date, the counter has lost more than 19%.
