KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 24): Traffic light poles and lamppost manufacturer Lysaght Galvanized Steel Bhd (KL:LYSAGHT) has secured a S$5.99 million (RM19.08 million) contract in Singapore for the supply of high masts.

In an exchange filing on Monday, the company said the purchase order was received by its wholly-owned unit, Lysaght Marketing (S) Pte Ltd, from Signify Singapore Pte Ltd.

Signify Singapore is part of Signify NV, a lighting company formerly known as Philips Lighting.

Lysaght said delivery is expected to be completed over a period of six years.

For the second quarter ended June 30, 2026, Lysaght posted a net loss of RM930,000 compared to a net profit of RM1.13 million a year earlier due to lower selling price of certain products and higher cost of input zinc. Revenue fell 1.2% to RM18.99 million.

Shares of Lysaght closed four sen or 1.7% higher at RM2.44 on Monday, giving the company a market capitalisation of RM101.5 million.
