KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 19): Security products firm Delux International Group Bhd has filed for a listing on the ACE Market to raise funds for expansion, as well as branding and marketing activities.
The plan is to complete the setup of a new showroom and sales office in Johor by the end of 2027, according to its draft prospectus. However, the Selangor-based company has yet to identify the properties to be acquired.
“The new showroom and sales office are intended to enhance our engagement with our customers directly and improve customer experience,” Delux International said.
The planned expansion in Johor, which already accounted for nearly 10% of its total revenue, also comes at a time when the state is seeing a boom in residential and commercial developments.
Founded by Datuk Chui Saig Herg and his elder sister Chui Yun Fei in 2004, Delux International designs and sells security products, including its trademarked UniGate brand of autogates, as well as security doors and other products such as digital locks and safes.
Lee Heng Guie, executive director of think tank Socio-Economic Research Centre and former chief economist at CIMB Group, is the chairman of Delux International.
The proposed initial public offering (IPO) involves a public issue of new shares and an offer for sale of existing shares, at a price to be determined later. All in, the listing will offer investors up to a 30% stake in the company that made a net profit of RM12.8 million on revenue of RM94.1 million in 2025.
Proceeds from the IPO will be used to enhance the company’s market presence through branding and marketing activities, including advertising, participation in trade fairs and exhibitions, as well as promotional campaigns, it said. The rest will be used for general working capital and to defray listing expenses.
Funds raised from the offer for sale, meanwhile, will accrue to the founding siblings.
TA Securities is the IPO’s principal adviser, sponsor, underwriter and placement agent.
