KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 18): Three top corporate executives — a company director, a chief executive officer and a chief financial officer — will be hauled to court on Wednesday to face charges brought by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).
According to a media notification issued by the MACC, the company director and CEO will face charges at the Kuala Lumpur Criminal Sessions Court while the CFO will be charged separately at the Seremban Sessions Court.
At least one of the individuals to be charged is connected to an investment bank based in Labuan, according to a senior MACC officer.
The proceedings in both courts are scheduled to commence at 9am.
